The Q7™ Leadership vs. Management Assessment is a validated assessment that measures an individual’s orientation between leadership and management. The survey, which can be either self-administered or completed by a supervisor or peer, was designed by Dr. Timothy R. Clark, and is based on research with more than 10,000 managers in more than 60 organizations, representing over 30 industries.
The purpose of this self-assessment is to measure your orientation between leadership and management. Keep in mind, there are no right or wrong answers to the assessment. Once you complete the assessment and view your orientation score, ask yourself this question:
“How well does my leadership-vs.-management orientation score match what the organization and my current role are asking of me?”
